Hard Rock Hotel HRH Reliquary Spa
4455 Paradise RoadLas Vegas, NV 89169702.693.5000800.HRD.ROCK (693.7625)

Tumblr member spa review:

I didn’t really use the general facilities at The Reliquary but my general assessment would be that while they are new and looked nice, the overall space is small.  The bar for me is set by Qua at Ceasars and if I was going to use one facility for a day pass, it would definitely be at Qua.  As for the services, the Cane massage was intriguing for its use of a bamboo stick during the massage.  In some ways it reminded me of my new personal massager, a bio-foam roller.  Offering certain strokes that I think are unachievable by hand.  While at times, I was unable to discern what was done by hand vs stick.  Yet, there were definitely moments where I could feel it was the stick and it really did nothing for me.  And it was in those moments, I realized that no devices other than a hand would be able to feel what was going on with my body and what needed to be done.

orspasms: Hard Rock Hotel HRH Reliquary Spa: 9/13 After questioning myself why I continually fly into Vegas on a late Thursday night and take the red-eye out on Monday, I found some peace on Monday around noon as I went to the new HRH Reliquary Spa to tour the facilities.  A few years ago, I started going to Qua at Ceasars during the day to work off a heavy night of drinking without having to drop a lot of money at the tables.  And on this day, I found out, was the start of spa week.  $50 dollars for a facial, Swedish, or their ‘Ancient’ Cane massage at the new Reliquary Spa.  Doing my due diligence, I stepped outside to the new pool area to research the facility, services, and other spa week options.  Well spa week was for a few places, not all.  And it seemed like The Reliquary had no real reviews (Yelp) and seemed to only have a few PR puff pieces.  After calling a few places and checking availability, I decided to take one for the team with a Cane massage at HRH and then a organic facial at the Aria.

Spice and Everything Nice

For most of us, the scents of cinnamon, apple and pumpkin bring to mind cozy images of baking and eating pies, cookies and other goodies on crisp, autumn nights. Though, the coziness of autumn should not be confined to the kitchen. Instead of eating those ingredients, spas are incorporating these ingredients into treatments for the fall. This fall, we found some innovative treatments for getting that pumpkin glow.

The Golden Door Spa at the Boulders Resort in Arizona is offering a Golden Harvest Facial, which combines pumpkin, green tea and avocado oil to cleanse and revitalize your skin. Essential oils of sweet orange, cinnamon, clove and nutmeg are also used to calm and clear the mind.

The Pumpkin Body Treat at California’s The Spa at Santaluz includes the application of warmed pumpkin, cream, cornmeal and honey to exfoliate dead skin cells. And, the Sweet Pumpkin Spice Pedicure, including a cinnamon spice soak, will have your toes dancing!

Arcona Inc. in Los Angeles is offering several fall products including pumpkin body lotion for repairing sun-damaged skin, a cranberry toner and an organic fruit enzyme peel that uses pumpkin, sweet potato and cranberry enzymes.

West Virginia’s Atasia Spa is tying in with the regional Apple Butter Festival. During September and October, Atasia will offer an Apple Butter Scrub treatment that begins with a warm body wash and ends with apple-scented body lotion.

California’s CA BOTANA International releases a new Pumpkin Enzyme Mask for the face and body. The mask may be used weekly to re-texturize skin and reduce the appearance of dark spots.
